About Watermark
Add a text or image watermark to your videos. Protect your content, brand it, or mark a draft as confidential.
How watermark works
A watermark is a visible overlay placed on top of your video: a logo in a corner, your handle stamped on every frame, or a “DRAFT” banner across the centre. Watermarks deter casual reuse and credit the source if a clip travels beyond your direct audience.
NextConvert supports both text and image watermarks with full control over position (9 anchor points or pixel-exact coordinates), size, opacity, and rotation. Image watermarks accept PNG with transparency, JPG, and SVG. Text watermarks support custom fonts, colors, drop shadow, and outlining for legibility on busy backgrounds.
Once applied, the watermark is permanently baked into the pixels. There’s no remove-watermark button anyone can hit. That’s the point.
When to use it
Brand attribution
Stamp your logo in the corner of demo videos, course content, or product reels.
Social handle
Put your @ on every post so re-uploads still send viewers back to you.
Draft or confidential
Mark internal review cuts with “DRAFT — NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION” to prevent accidental leaks.
Stock licensing
Watermark preview reels heavily so prospects see them but can’t pirate them.

We render the overlay onto every frame and produce the watermarked file.
Tips for the best result
- Opacity around 50 to 70% looks intentional but not distracting. Solid 100% logos shout.
- Bottom-right is the most-respected corner. Viewers expect channel branding there. Top corners get cropped by some platforms.
- For PNGs with transparency, make sure the source has an alpha channel. Flat PNGs over a coloured background reveal the box.
